I use a variety of hardwoods, supplied through local vendors, who pride themselves and their businesses on using local, domestic lumber and working with urban planners to sustainably manage communities tree health, as well as local farmers and arboretums. Most of the local lumber is within a 60 mile radius. There are some exotic hardwoods, such as purple heart and zebrawood that get utilized in our products, in which case suppliers have vetted their imports on ensuring ethically sourced materials are purchased.
